Brett Roberts

Research Scientist

As a CIWRO Research Scientist, Brett splits his duties between NSSL and SPC. His research interests are focused on the design and verification of convection-allowing model (CAM) ensembles, particularly in the contexts of severe convective hazards and precipitation forecasting. He also develops software and real-time products to display and verify output from CAM ensembles for SPC operations and HWT experimental programs. Ultimately, the goal of Brett's work is to help maximize the utility of these ensembles in forecasting severe weather hazards.
