Jorge Guerra

Research Scientist I

My work involves integrating rapid ensemble forecast guidance products into the AWIPS2 platform and enabling warning operations with such guidance through the Hazard Services interface. Currently, we focus on developing products from the Warn-On-Forecast system (convective hazards) and from HYSPLIT (ash and chemical release transport). The goal is to craft a set of effective and flexible ensemble forecast packages delivered through AWIPS2.
