Remote sensing of the atmosphere using Doppler polarimetric radars and other sensors. Integration of polarimetric radar measurements and cloud models. Microphysical and thermodynamic retrievals in clouds and precipitation using cloud and weather surveillance radars. Development of operational polarimetric radar algorithms for the US NWS NEXRAD network.
