Lin Tang

Research Scientist

Lin’s research interests include dual polarization weather radars, radar hydrometeorology, digital imaging processing and computational electromagnetics. Her work has been focused on radar data quality control and dual-polarization radar quantitative precipitation estimation in the Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor System (MRMS). Lin is experienced with radar data from S/C/X-band weather radars of single/dual polarization, with applications of rainfall/snowfall estimation. Besides research development, she also provides supports in system management for new algorithms testing in the research MRMS.
