Research Scientist

I analyze a variety of metrics and methods used to quantify seasonal severe weather activity. My main goal is to identify the best predictand to be used in an experimental seasonal forecast of severe weather that will focus on whether the spring months yield more, less, or average severe weather activity compared to climatology.
