Post-Doctoral Research Associate

My current research focuses on studying the climate change effects on mesoscale convective systems (they are the largest thunderstorms on earth) and their associated severe weather hazard events (i.e., hail, tornado, severe wind, and flash flooding) from remote sensing observations and model simulations. I also apply machine learning techniques for the classification of thunderstorm morphology and severe weather event types.
