The University of Oklahoma held its annual Student Research and Creativity Day on Friday, March 4, 2016. The event was sponsored by the Graduate College, Graduate College Student Ambassadors, McNair Scholars, and Graduate Student Senate, and offered students the chance to present their work in either an oral presentation or a poster presentation. Judges determined the top three entries in each category and awarded cash prizes. We are pleased to share that two OU CIMMS researchers were selected as award winners in the 2016 Student Research and Creativity Day!

Katie Bowden won first place for her entry and Race Clark was selected for the McNair’s Choice award in Science. This was the third recent award for Katie Bowden, who was recognized her work at the 2015 NWA Annual Meeting and the 2016 AMS Annual Meeting. Race Clark  earned first place for his poster at the 2015 NWA Annual Meeting.

Congratulations, Race and Katie!
